Abarcon Weighing Entertainment AWC
The weighing containment, suitable for weighing potent, fine-dust active ingredients in the laboratory, was designed for maximum number of people and minimum product exposure.
Personal and room protection:
Excellent personal and room protection was demonstrated in accordance with EN 14175-3. Values between 0.01 ppm and 0.03 ppm were measured (the permissible limit is 0.65 ppm). Product exposure of < 10 ng/m³ was verified using naproxen sodium.

Due to its excellent retention capacity combined with low inflow velocity, the Abarcon weighing containment AWC is the ideal workplace for handling small quantities of powdered APIs.
The foldable front panel makes it easy to place and set up even large devices.
The AWC comes standard with an acrylic glass work area and a painted stainless steel technical area. For use in GMP environments, the AWC is available with a brushed stainless steel surface and a real glass work area.

Operating principle
Precise measurement results:
A laminar unidirectional airflow with a very low but uniform inflow velocity
< 0.3 m/s guarantees reliable, stable and reproducible weighing results with accuracies of
0.000001 grams.
The system can optionally be designed with or without a filter unit.
